by Dr. Susan Block The 25th wedding anniversary is a big one, awarding the couple a silver “loving cup” in honor of fulfilling their marriage vows for a distinguished number of spins around the sun. Celebrating the 25th feels like gaining admittance into an elite club of veteran couples of all kinds, from reactionaries to revolutionaries, from Mike and Karen Pence (together since 1985) to Keith Richards and Patti Hansen (since 1983) to us (since 1992!); this imaginary couples club is made up of people who really don’t have anything in common at all, except being married more than 25 years.

Here in Bonoboville, we do both. We celebrate the glorious and just defeat of California Prop 60 which we worked our sexy butts off to beat, in an erotic rainbow of ways. And we mourn, oh yes, we mourn (most of us in black, sporting Brexit-inspired safety pins) for the seemingly moribund America of our sex-positive, multicultural, environmentally conscious, interracial, gender-equal dreams.

The past is quite imperfect, and the future looks like an über-scary clown, but Bonoboville lights up the crossroads with an off-the-charts fantastic, orgiastic and very Happy New Year’s Eve. It’s a night of communal ecstasy, collective joy, bonoboësque spirit, rainbow-ësque diversity, resistance to oppression from all directions and pure pleasure… with a little bit of pain. Featuring a galaxy of porn stars, pundits, singers, swingers and LA’s most preeminent pro-Dommes, we spank out the old annus (and anus) and flog in a very Happy Nude Rear, as we ride the magical orgasmical Sybian into a deliriously climactic 2017.

I cum to bury Valentine’s Day (not to praise it)… and to resurrect the Lupercalia for modern times. Lupercalia is the original holiday of the heart, the wild municipal whipping party referenced most famously in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, which the Catholic Church sanitized and Hallmark commercialized into what we now call Valentine’s Day.

In honor of human pet specialist Madame Margherite’s emergence into the world, our theme for this show is Animal Play, the Bonobo Way. With dance, romance, roleplay, cake, communion, spankings, a sparkling butt plug and a multi-orgasmic, squirting Motorbunny ride, we unleash our inner animals with a roar, a purr, a moan, a squeal, a growl and shrieks of animalistic delight. And it feels good. We humans are animals, of course, although we often forget that we are, and most of mainstream religions try to tell us we aren’t. This can really screw up our sexuality, our emotions, our politics and our environment; just check out the fake news and the real news, and you know what I mean.
Featuring: Alex More, Chef BeLive, DaLove, Gypsy, Ikkor the Wolf, Madame Margherite, Sebastian Walkerby Dr. Susan Block Oh, what a show! After that dreary, dreadful inauguration of America’s scary new Clown-in-Chief and the closing of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, Bonoboville busts out the perfect antidote with a sensational, spectacular “Anti-Inaugural Circus,” featuring human animals and party animals, Bonobo Way book-spankings and Bonoboville Communion, rousing speeches and arousing striptease, an über-orgasmic Sybian ride and a breathtaking, sparkling climax with four hot ladies giving Trump a series of Golden Showers.

Plus, we celebrate our beloved Gypsy’s birthday in bawdy bonoboësque style with a bunch of beauteous, bare boobies and some very sensuous Bonoboville Communions. And man, oh man-child, do we whack tRUMP!
Featuring: Al Schute, Gypsy, Ikkor the Wolf, Keef Ward, Michael Q. Schmidt, Tamura Bettieby Dr. Susan Block Art can instigate or pacify, “comfort the afflicted,” in the immortal words of Finley Peter Dunne, “or afflict the comfortable.” Two of the most compelling and controversial subjects that art can address are sex and death. Tackling these touchy topics in their respective artworks are my first two guests, mixed media artist Sara Lurie and tattoo and poster artist Howard Teman. Both depict very sexy—as well as a few rather unsexy—naked bodies and body parts, political and religious symbols, themes of erotic bondage, blow jobs, guns, blood, spiders, scorpions, a braid of hair that turns into a hang man’s noose, and a few notable celebrities in compromising positions, including JFK between Marilyn’s legs. My third guest, sexpot socialite Amor Hilton, is grappling with the loss of her friend, Christina Dolce, aka “Forbidden,” dubbed the “Queen of Myspace” by Vanity Fair in 2006; now dead of liver failure at 35.
Featuring: Amor Hilton, Gypsy, Howard Teman, Sara Lurie, Shannon St. Jamesby Dr. Susan Block “Remember, remember the 5th of November,” quotes the classic “V for Vendetta,” one of several symbolic erotic themes for this effervescent gathering of artists, nudists, exhibitionists, rappers, comics, actors and sex rƎVO˩utionaries in the Womb Room of Bonoboville, LAX on November the 5th, 2016. From fiery speeches to anal art, boobie cake, naked masked dances, political comedy, Bonobo Way birthday-spankings and sexual confessions to Scorpio Communion, with this amazing show, to quote “V” again, “Together we give them a 5th of November that shall never, ever be forgot.”
Featuring: Captain Max, Catherine Imperio, Chef BeLive, DaLove, Gypsy, Rhiannon Aarons, Samantha Fairleyby Dr. Susan Block We gather together in the Womb Room Cathedral of the Church of Bonoboville where we worship all the gods and goddesses, “just in case,” as Prince Max says, we find that one or two of them are real when we cross over from this life to whatever lies beyond. “Just in case…” is our mantra. There are infinite possibilities for “The Infinite.” So, come, let us pray…. and cum, let us play! This is Bonoboville, after all, at the Dr. Susan Block Institute of Faith-Based Sex. We may or may not be Children of God, but we are all Children of Sex. Hallelujah, Brothers and Sisters, Lovers and Sinners. Sex is what brings us into this world, and sex is what motivates us to stick around for a while.
