My featured guest in-studio is Ecosexuality’s co-editor, the dazzling Dr. SerenaGaia Anderlini D’onofrio, a distinguished professor of humanities at the University of Puerto Rico and a pioneer with this rapidly growing worldwide movement connecting art, eroticism and environmental activism in myriad ways—both personal and political. In the first part of the program, Dr. SerenaGaia discusses the work, philosophies and fertile collaborations that led to the book’s creation. Then the esteemed professor delights us with how physically open she is—unlike so many other, stuffier academics who have promoted books on my broadcast bed—as she generously and joyously participates in our nipple-freeing rites and bonoboësque pleasures.

Bonobos are experts in the erotic art of relaxation, but for us civilized humans, it’s not so easy. If we’re nervous or tense—fearing any real or imagined danger—our bodies tend to *defend* us against attack, but also against pleasure, all too often resulting in lost erections, missed orgasms, pain, shame, blame, tearful recriminations, hostility and in some situations, even violence. So best to learn to release your inner bonobo and relaxxx! Breathe deep into your pelvis, do a little yoga or just stretch, put on the right music, take a puff of ganja or a sip of Agwa, shake that bootie and let that tension go. That’s my sex-therapeutic takeaway for Relaxation Day.

by Dr. Susan Block The big fat silvery Supermoon of summer’s end beams over Bonoboville throughout this show in all “her” radiant glory, fearsome mystery and erotic power, bathing us in eroticizing celestial moonshine well into the after-party. This massive August moon is not *just* full as the belly of a woman about to give birth; it is also at “perigee,” the moment when la luna (español for the moon) is closest to Earth in its orbit. The full moon coinciding with perigee makes it appear even larger (thus the term “supermoon), which is a tremendous turn-on for us lunar size-queens. Perhaps that’s why this show glows with so much luminous excitement, wild sex, fun and bonoboësque wisdom. Or maybe it’s the sky-rocketing So Cali heat that makes the clothes come off and the passions pour forth with such force, velocity, generosity and unrestrained freedom of expression. Another integral part of the “moon magic” of this show springs from the talent and openness of my two featured guests, Leilani Lei and Dayton Rains, both virgins to The Dr. Susan Block Show, but already ardent adherents to the Bonobo Way.

Our first Labia Day, a.k.a., #LabiaDay, celebration features the delightful labia-lapping Dayton Rains showing off her own world-famous labia in multiple positions and configurations, expertly licking my lucky labia and, in that great U.S. presidential intern tradition, smoking a cigar through her labia, as well as instigating a small but sassy Labia Day Movement right here in the Womb Room studio—power to the pornstars! Back to Labor Day (for just a moment), which I’ve always found to be a bittersweet occasion. Like any public holiday, it’s as good an excuse as any to break out the booze and BBQs, but tragically, it also marks the end of summer vacation, with “labor,” a.k.a., school, work and winter, looming ominously ahead. Moreover, the whole “labor” theme never seems to be a genuine celebration of the people, the real workers, or the 99%. It’s more of a paltry pacifier from the 1%–the owners, Mafioso union bosses, greedy oligarchs and CEOs—one measly Monday where we theoretically don’t have to labor for The Man, but are expected to consume high-calorie processed foods from company stores like Walmart and Target, watch military-style parades and endure boring, hypocritical speeches.

Forged in the fire of anti-war fervor and the sexual revolution, the “village” of Tamera was conceived in Germany in 1978 and founded in southern Portugal in 1995 on principles of peace, trust, ecology and “free love.” Today 170 people live, love and work in Tamera, connected with its growing international network and base stations in Israel-Palestine, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya and other countries, each an interconnected part of Terra Nova, the global platform for their mission of peace.
