Birthday HEALING
Get Well Capt’n Max +Happy Birthday to Me & Group Therapy for All
Capt’n Max had a stroke. I wish it could say that’s a joke. Or the good kind of stroke – a stroke of luck, a soft caress, a pleasure stroke. But no, unfortunately, Max had a stroke of seismic – or “ischemic” – pain… which is, in a way, a very bad joke that the body plays on the brain.
The technical term is cerebrovascular accident (CVA), but everyone calls it a “stroke” – though it’s really more of a strike – less a caress than a bullet to the brain, or, in Max’s case, an unexploded bomb that forms a blood clot blocking the flow of blood as well as oxygen to the cerebrum, causing (in Max’s case) sudden and severe damage.

Full transcript of Birthday HEALING on The Dr. Susan Block Show:
Brothers and sisters, lovers and sinners, all you children of sex, and we are all children of sex. We may or may not be children of God, Jesus, Allah, Brahma, Buddha, the Goddess, but we are all children of sex. That is our subject here on the Dr. Susan Block show. FDR Radio, Buck de Rich. Also Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our 32nd president, a little bit socialist.
And I am the irreverent Dr. Susan Block, your servant and your mistress of the airwaves, and your love doctor and your friend broadcasting live from the little love church of the Bonobo Way in the village of Bonoboville at the speakeasy bar all started with Captain Max. My Captain. Hi Captain.
Captain Max is the captain of my ship of fools for love. All kinds of fools for love, but only one Captain, my Captain. Wow, Captain Max. He's in this picture. He's not live tonight here in the studio, even though it's my birthday. That's right. Happy birthday to me.
We'll get into that in a minute. It's a special occasion, but it's a very difficult occasion. And yet it's been difficult for three weeks here in the little love church of the Bonobo Way. And especially in my heart, it's been difficult. But I finally feel I'm able to talk about what happened, and it seems like a good time.
So Captain Max had a stroke, and I wish I could say it's a joke. Even saying that is a bad joke, but he really had a bad stroke. And wow, it's a big thing. It's like a heart attack in the brain. It's like a radioactive bomb.
It's a joke, a bad joke that the body plays on the brain. And he had a big one about three weeks ago, and I've been crying and trying to keep him alive. It's a team effort. He's the Captain. And then there are doctors and nurses and physical therapists and me, the wife and the partner.
And he's still here with us as of this broadcast, hopefully many more years. You never know. You never know ever, ever, ever. But, you know, when you have a stroke, it's very precarious. You could have another stroke. It's very precarious.
So we appreciate that as of this broadcast, he has survived. And I have my cell phones here, all my phones. So I think if anything terrible happened, I would get a phone call. So you would get the phone call too.
So I think we can celebrate to some extent. I mean, I know, I have often had wonderful big bacchanales and orgies for my birthday. Birthday gazzams and just unforgettable kinky squirting wild times. And I might still, but I think it's a big deal that I'm just here.
Okay. I wanted to be here. I've been in the hospital wearing a sweatshirt. I thought I'd put on a little lingerie like thing and, you know, I have my captain with me and my Palestine flag to put certain people off. It's always, always on my mind, the suffering, even amidst our suffering.
And there's more suffering today. We'll talk about that maybe. But mostly we're going to talk about Max a little bit about me being born today. But mostly, yeah, thank you. Thank you. And I have some very special guests tonight, just a couple, not a big party.
I have an old friend, the younger person I've known longer. There's the older person. But I've known John a pretty long time and John is looking very Shakespearean tonight. It's a midsummer night's wet dream.
And over here to my left is Reagan. I met Reagan in like 1996, I think, or seven. Oh, I was freshly moved to California and in need of kinky roll models. And you were with Ken Marcus.
No. And yes, Ken Marcus, who's still alive doing his thing. And yes, you came to me and Captain Max when we were at the Villa Piacere. Oh, the memories.
In the Hollywood Hills. That show, it was great. You watched what show? And Reagan was on when she was playing harp.
The Aero State show. Yeah, that's the one. Yeah, that one was beautiful. Was beautiful.
Yes. And it was in on Pico. Oh, yeah. You guys have a big warehouse in downtown Pico.
Like it around the Susan Block Empire. That's right. We have gotten around the LA area. It's true.
You find such wonderfully delicious places and filled them with art and pleasure. Yeah, but that is largely Captain Max. I mean, it's me too. No pun intended.
But it's so much Max. He is the designer of these places. And I never want to move. I always go, ah, how are we going to move into a new place?
But he's like a set designer. And he's always like, yes, we'll just put this here and that there and art everywhere. That was a great place. What is that, John?
That space you had on Pico. Oh, on Pico. It was a very sketchy neighborhood, but it was a great space. The Pico space.
Yeah, I was there a long time. I was there like nine years. I was there through my own illness where I was very sick and I was put on a breathing tube. I was intubated.
I had septic shock and I survived. And Captain Max came to visit me every day and I was in a coma for about 10 days. And on the breathing tube for two weeks. So the worst part was awake on a breathing tube.
And Max was awake on a breathing tube for a few days. It's very harrowing. It's a beautiful thing to survive. That's what I find in life.
Not to recommend suffering at all. I don't. But if you know pain, you know pleasure. So true.
I mean, you feel the contrast. And of course it can get too extreme in either direction. More likely in the pain direction, especially when it's non-consensual. But it can get too much in the pleasure direction.
More likely in like an addictive way or something or toxic somehow. So the balance is very important. Especially when it comes to healing. Because there's a lot of chemistry that we may not understand.
Especially as far as a stroke is concerned. Have you ever had a stroke in your family? No. I haven't been too close to that.
I'm not in my family, but I've had people I was close to who have major strokes. So I'm not a doctor, but one guy was in his 90s and he was completely aphasic. He couldn't speak at all or understand language. And he came all the way back.
So it's on the other hand, I know somebody else who got paralyzed on one side of their body. And they stayed that way. Well, yeah, it's hard to say what the future brings. We're trying.
Max was hit pretty hard. He had a blood clot in his brain. He still has it. We figured it out.
I say we. That was me and Gideon. Really much, much appreciation goes to Gideon for helping focus me and call 911 and talk to 911.
He did most of the talking. I was like, what is going on? Oh, you didn't know what was happening? Not in the first couple of minutes.
But then he said he's having a stroke and then it made sense. And then the paramedics were there and I just had to pull on clothes to go with them. And Gideon talked to the paramedics and people were all around. I think Chico, the dog came out.
Everyone was concerned about Captain Max. He had frozen and was just calling. Ah, ah. And you are wearing the village shirt at the little love church in Bonoboville.
I love the support. Of Bonobo Way. Yes, thank you. Thank you for the advice.
How you doing, E.Core? Ah, you're looking at it. What are you looking at? You're looking good.
Thank you. So you're still doing all this fight that's going on. You're still looking good and vibrant. Oh, thank you.
And the show must go on because you're still doing the show and you stand on your ground. And this is somewhat of therapy because you're talking to the world about it and you're expressing yourself, which is a good thing. And you're having it very resilient in my book.
And when you called me the other day, we had that long discussion and you sound so together. And really embracing it because it's what it is, but moving forward. And I commend you.
Well, thank you. I must say I was not so together three weeks ago. Or maybe I was because really when stuff like this first happens, you have to go with the flow both in an emergency way
and try to do whatever is necessary to save lives. And then also let your emotions go to some extent. I don't think it's good to hold your emotions in. But on the other hand, in emergency situations, right,
you can't give in to your emotions. But once you let the professionals take over, maybe you can to some extent, although you even always have to watch the professionals
because they always are watching the bottom line. I mean, all hats off to them, right? Because they're skilled and they work hard and they went to school and they know what they're doing
to a certain extent. And then there is mystery. And then, I don't know, you could fill in the blank with religion, with music, with feeling, with love.
And it's also the individual who's going through the situation. It's how strong that they are and how, you know, they have the will to live or the will to fight to live. And it's within that human being as well.
Some people get tired and like, you know, but then you have those fighters who've been warriors the whole time and like, I have a purpose. I've been doing things and it's a person like Captain Max.
Like I got a ship to run, you know. I've been doing this for a long time. I know Susan and you know how he is, you know. I know, I know.
And he is fighting. He does get tired. I see that. I see both.
There's a conflict between the will and the fight that it takes and the energy that it takes. And then the desire, because it is a kind of desire. Because there is a reason we call orgasm the little death
and the big death is kind of orgasmic. I mean, when I got close to it back in 2006, I remember feeling like, oh, it would be so easy and so kind of pleasurable just to die.
And I had to fight to live and it was not fun. I didn't want to do it, but I did it, you know. And I hope he does it. I hope he fights to live.
I've known you guys for a decade now. And a lot of people stay together. Very few people stay in love. But you and Max are an inspiration.
So he's certainly got something to fight for him. Well, yeah. And I love him. And I think he loves me.
Sometimes I'm not even sure if he knows me, honestly. Although I think he said, Susan. And I think he said, I love you. But I don't know if I'm wishful thinking it.
I don't know. It's so hard to say because stroke, it comes so slowly back. I should show a picture of him looking cute post stroke. And there he is with this Captain Max hat.
And there he's got his feeding tube through his nose, but he's breathing on his own and his eyes are big and he's got that cute smile out of his good side, which is his left side.
He's fighting. He's trying. He's looking adorable. His eyes are open.
That's great. Yeah. Well, the blessing is he's still alive. Exactly.
He's not passed away on the other side. He's still here. Right. It's just another element.
It's a new element that came about. But it's something that we have to just get through and keep getting through with the whole way through. It's a life altering situation, of course,
but you still have a heart that's beating. And there are plenty of people that have strokes that are still at home. They still move around whatever they just like limited
in their movements, but they still move it. So that's the best part about this and the blessing of it all from the creator, you know? Yeah.
And he has support. He has to do their every day. And he knows that. I'm sure it was making him stronger every day.
Ooh. It's a process. Yeah. It's a process.
No, why? But you're his lifeline coming in every day. Exactly. Give it a real.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How are you putting on cute love?
I come in every single day. Well, today I put a cute outfit on. Yeah. I did.
I put this outfit on, really, although I covered it with my Pashima shawl so that I wouldn't excite the other patients too much. Although I did excite them anyway,
this one nurse says to me, when I get older, speaking of birthdays, I want to look like you. I said, older?
What do you mean older? Exactly. No, I said, thank you. I get to say thank you all the time.
They really work hard, these nurses and doctors and everybody, but he needs a lot of work. He needs a lot of help. And he's getting it.
That is gorgeous. So this is my Pashima shawl. Max got me for my birthday. Max got the swag.
I love rainbow on my birthday. I wonder why, because I'm born in the June time. Speaking of which, where's my wonderful hairdresser?
Why don't you say hi to Max? Hey, Max. What are you doing? Well, looking strong.
He's looking strong. Mark did a great job with my hair. And Mark is looking good. Do you want to share?
You've been getting some sort of process that makes you look like you've been drinking from the fountain of use. I've been doing laser treatments on my face.
I used to have like really, really bad acne scars. So over the course of four years, I've done 11 laser treatments, but I found the secret.
It's chemical peels. I've done one chemical peel a month for three months. And the results have like been night and day. So I have this like newfound confidence.
You know, I don't look down. They look people directly in the eye when they talk to them now, because they feel much better about the way my skin looks. Well, we don't necessarily recommend that.
But he looks great. And it works for some people and it's like a choice. So I think it looks great. You know, I don't know what the side effects are,
but you know, follow your bliss brothers and sisters, lovers and sinners. Yes, yes.
Follow your bliss. And Mark has cut Max's hair. Mark has multi talents. Mark is a skater.
Mark also plays the harp. Yeah. What do you think of our harpist, Mark? Reagan.
I love it. I think personally it's the hardest instrument to play next to a piano. And why did you choose it then? I was at a funeral and a Celtic lady came in with her
Renaissance dress and her fire red hair. And she commanded the presence of everybody in the room without saying a word. She did a twist and she threw her dress and sat down on the chair
and I about threw my car keys at her like, I was so impressed just by the way she presented herself. It is very angelic. She looked at everybody.
Everyone didn't say a word. And then she started to play and it took me to another level. I can't even explain. And I just said, I have to learn that.
And Max believes in angels. So do I a little bit like it's not the same as believing in a God. It's more just believing in forces that you just can't explain. And you call it an angel.
I guess that's what people call God except they're so adamant about God. I think angels are a little more kind of laissez-faire, right? Saints, angels. I don't know.
Does anybody have any expertise in that regard? I don't think so. Allegedly. Really?
They're angels? Well according to one school of thought. Right. I guess they could be.
Angels are more broad. I think angels occur in every religion and saints are only Catholic. Right? Beatified saints.
Right. Lucifer is a fallen angel according to the Catholics. But I think he's also a fallen angel according to the Jews actually. He's the only friend we have in the Old Testament.
God wanted to keep us ignorant, remember? Right. Lucifer is really Pan. Panpaniscus is the painter and saint, so to speak, of the Bonobos.
Panpaniscus. You know, pan is great. And the Catholics churn pan, the God of the wild, the Lord of the people and the animals into the enemy, into Satan. Although, you know, the people still embrace what is nature.
I'm so excited to have Reagan. It's a pleasure to be here. I met you when you were like 19. Oh yes.
You were... I was a hot teen in your area. We didn't even know that phrase. No.
Ken Marcus introduced you to me. I didn't actually know you were a hot teen for like a couple of visits and then I knew and then couldn't stop talking about it. But in any case, you were just so poised. Thank you.
You had the exuberance of your youth, but you seemed quite knowledgeable and smart and just full of energy. And we had our place in the Hollywood Hills at that time. So fun. And we had a bar.
We always have a bar, right? And we had a bed. We always have a bed. We are now doing the show at the bar with the bed next door.
We used to do the show on the bed with the bar across the way. So we're always bedding and barring one way or another. And we call the show the speakeasy because we speak easy about subjects that are kind of hard to speak about, so to speak. And gosh, I kind of sort of started doing it in the 80s, but Max really brought it out of me.
And did it with me. And he kind of sort of was doing it in the 80s as well. And then we merged. You guys collaborated and make this whole basic history on this adult industry.
You really elevated it, I think. We elevated the adult industry. Well, you said it. I didn't.
And I'm glad you didn't. Thank you very much. Just because you have a stage and you asked them to fuck on it. I did.
And nobody else was doing it. You're the first. And talk about the meaning of it and sort of the how-to of it and the ins and the outs, so to speak. And the pros and the cons and the wares and the why-fors and what's your upbringing got to do with it.
There's a lot of horny environments, but they don't all welcome the intellectual quality that you bring. You host real inquiry. Thank you for putting it that way, Reagan. Because you'll get political, you know.
But you can still get your point across because sex always sells and people listen. But they not even realize that they're getting taught some lessons. But they still get a treat by seeing some boobs or seeing some sex. And everybody loves that.
Yeah. The very last time I was out here, you were getting some pressure on the censorship end from, I believe, it was Facebook and a couple of others. It was refreshing that didn't Twitter, at least they explicitly invited.
Yes, indeed. Hallelujah. Amen and amen women. I have been censored over and over.
And yet I am fighting it. I feel that I am fighting it primarily for myself, but also for a lot of people who have been censored. I sound a little like Trump. He says, hey, I'm convicted, but really so are all of you or something like that.
It's not the same, brothers and sisters. But it is a little bit the same because whenever somebody fights something, some people are going to relate to it. So I think there's a lot of people that like me have been not just censored
because censorship is one thing, right? And I guess having a website myself, I have a social media site called Bonoboville. And hey, it's not quite as big as Facebook, but it's an exciting social media site. And sometimes we have to censor something like say somebody posts the same ad like 47 times.
You're going to censor it 46 of the times. Or I guess revenge porn, things like that, or murder and mayhem. I mean, there's lots of things that I believe in censoring. And I guess I also believe that whoever owns a website has a right to censor whatever they feel
is inappropriate or, you know, I might argue I might feel bad about it, but I don't feel that it's worth pursuing legally. However, deactivation is another story altogether. Yes, indeed deactivation, which in this AI age artificial intelligence,
which is really more artificial ignorance. I was going to say the same word. When I signed up for Facebook back in 2008, I'm sure there was some AI being done, perhaps 10%, but mostly it was moderated by humans.
And you had someone to recourse with if you didn't like their assessment of your work. And yet gradually and then very quickly and all of a sudden we have AI moderating something like 99.9% of our material. And even then I get it with censorship, but deactivation, which from metasites,
meta owning, meta, megalopoly, a monopoly on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, messenger, threads, I'm sure I'm leaving things out. It's a digital time score. We need a place that's public for everybody to have a digital representation of themselves.
That should be a human right. It should be. It's maddening. I'm mad for you.
Public utility. Yeah, a public utility exactly like the town square. I got a red flag for giving somebody a compliment on Instagram. I couldn't believe it.
I gave them a congratulations and you know, big shout outs props and it was like, we flagging you because you look like you're trying to get likes and followers. I said. What?
I screen shot it. I screen shot it and put it up. What do you think you're there for? It's kind of shocking except I know how random it is.
It's not even discrimination. At first I was thinking this is discrimination because look at all these other people with doing much worse than me. Why are they picking on me? Well, I'll tell you why they're picking on you because these bots are dumb bots.
They're not smart bots. They're dumb and they just grab it things. And then next thing you know, you're deactivated, which when it comes to meta is terminated or X terminated. And it's a lot like just being thrown into a body bag and into a ditch.
I look at it like this doc. When you're doing great things, you know, you have a target on you and the light shining. And a lot of times the dark light don't like that light that shines. So they want to throw it whatever it is that you're doing.
So it's like how they say a good publicity or bad publicity is like either one is good because you're still being talked about. You're still being, you know, recognized. So I look at it as that, that you a powerhouse being recognized and you actually ruffling some feathers. Well, thank you.
Especially sex education that ruffles a lot of feathers. If you're not being talked about, you're not doing your job. Thank you. Our first big encounter with AI was social media and we lost.
And yet we're fighting. And it ain't over. We're still fighting. And I am fighting.
Zuck the cock in the ring. Right. And the problem is he has this thing, this law that really is being applied unfairly. I don't know if you ever heard of this.
It's called section 230. And this is the reason that Zuck the cock and Elon and all these tech feudal lords of the techno vifdoms have so much power. It's because of this thing called section 230. Anybody ever heard of that?
Section 230. Okay. Let's enlighten. Okay.
So, Reagan, around the time that you and I met, which was 1996, we were barely on the internet, right? Oh yeah, there was a few stations. There was a little bit of internet. We were on, actually.
But there was no Facebook. I don't even know if there was a Google. I don't think so. I think there was AOL.
Altavista. Right, Yahoo. Right. And so there was this desire on everyone's part to kind of grow the internet and give the internet freedom.
Give the people running the websites freedom. And, well, who's going to argue with that? Freedom of speech. So they created this thing called section 230, which is a section of a law, a communications decency act.
And so it means that if there's something on a website that is a problem, basically the owner of the website can't get sued. Protection. Plus, the owner of the website can remove anything they want or keep on anything they want. Basically can censor or not whenever they want and will never be held responsible.
So there's a very big, wide freedom of speech for that owner. However, because there's so much freedom of speech for the owner, there's very little freedom of speech for the users. Any user, their speech can be removed at any time by this owner. And as these owners got bigger and bigger and became Zuck the Cock and Ilona Muskie,
as they became these big moguls and didn't really need all that protection from accountability, well, it's become the opposite of freedom of speech. It's become a way to prevent freedom of speech and allow the owners of these few internet social media sites, such as Meta, which is, it's not even one of the few.
It is the only one that, like for instance, members of my family and Max's family that I was trying to reach when he first had a stroke. And they're not looking on email. They're not looking on Twitter. They're not looking on other sites I might be on.
They're on Facebook because that's the family site. So the fact that I am banned from Facebook meant I could not interact with my family members and let them know right away and get their help in both physical and psychological ways. I could not get this.
I was cut off from them and essentially so was Max cut off from family and close friends who are older people who are on Facebook. Sorry, they're not on Snapchat. They're not on these other things.
They're just on Facebook. That's what Facebook made itself into. It made itself into the indispensable family communications thing. Also, by the way, and this is not as urgent a thing, but I happen to be a graduate of Yale University.
Everyone has some school they're affiliated with. Where do your schools have groups? Not on Twitter. Your schools have groups on Facebook.
If they have any groups, your school has a group on Facebook. High school as well. That's where your high school, your college, always your alma mater is on Facebook. And so they are depriving me of my classmates' interaction.
Cutting you off of communication of your own. That's illegal. It's your own people. That's illegal case.
That's illegal, but it's illegal case. No matter what, freedom of speech and we have the constitution. Any contract that is debunked that is already unlawful because you can't take someone's rights away. You just can't.
Well, you can't legally, but you can de facto. So we all have our rights taken away all the time. De facto means no fact at all. As opposed to du jour.
The decision to let advertising pay for the internet was to deal with a devil that sent it all straight to hell. I suppose. Capitalism. You know, Facebook isn't trying to be evil by creating two different sets of, you know, two different realities.
It's just the algorithm. You know, what people, the algorithm seeks engagement. What keeps people engaged is anger. I don't get people angry enough.
It's true. I'm about love, not war. The business model. Oh, look who's speaking about love.
Love, love, love. Hi there. Tuesday. Yay.
And Oracle, hello. Hi. Hi, hi. So Tuesday and Oracle are here.
And we're very excited to have you here. Tuesday was here last week. This is Reagan, by the way, on harp. And Tuesday sang with us about six weeks ago.
You were here for our anniversary. And we sang Happy Anniversary to you to the tune of Happy Birthday. So maybe we'll just sing Happy Birthday. But tonight's Happy Birthday is also a Get Well Max.
Because like I was telling you earlier, everyone, I think here knows this now. Max had a stroke. And I'm smiling because I'm broadcasting.
But really, it's kind of been a harrowing three weeks. And finally, I feel good about having a show. So cute. Oh, I love it.
Very rainbow. This is a rainbow hat, right? It's kind of fun. So Tuesday is doing a show on Gil Scott-Harran.
As those of you who are old enough to know, or even if you're not, the revolution will not be televised, except it is being broadcast live on the internet.
And that's why I'm wearing my Palestine button. So I'm sorry if I offend you, but I support Palestine. And I am a Jew for Palestine.
How about that? I really have talked about this on many shows, and I'm not going to spend the whole show on it again. I will say, check out my current piece in Counterpunch
called My Reply to a Zionist Troll. Because I have a lot of Zionist trolls that write to me. And this particular one happened to be a so-called journalist. And tell me that I am a self-hating Jew because I support Palestine.
And Palestinians' rights to live and be free, but certainly to live and have medical care and universities and not get bombed and have food and art and everything.
And so because of that, they called me a self-hating Jew. And I said, you know, I've heard that phrase many times, and I honestly don't think I am. Occasionally I am a self-deprecating Jew because it's funny.
You like to make fun of yourself sometimes. That's not hating, though. But I think Zionists are self-hating Jews because they are working for the military machine.
They are the front lines of the colonial machine, the old colonial machine that now still exists in Palestine. And the Zionists are fronting it. And it's sad to see there's a self-hating Jewish problem.
So let Palestine be free. Love yourself, my brothers and sisters. Make love, not war. Make love, not war.
Shoot the gun between your legs, right now. And since when this particular Zionist troll had written to me, it was Masturbation Month, which was May. I told her to celebrate Masturbation Month.
Masturbation, not occupation. Hey, hey. So I mean it. I seriously do. I seriously feel there is a choice that we have in life
to make love or war. And to make love is so important in so many ways. First of all, it is the opposite of war. That's why that phrase exists.
But also, it really helps in healing. I feel so bad for some of these patients that I see now, Max is in rehab. And they're all around.
And I don't see them being visited. And it's hard. Because nurses are limited in the way that they can touch you. And they should be.
They have latex gloves and these masks and outfits. And I love to touch Max. And give him touch vibes. And they are sexual.
So it isn't like everybody should do them. But they're so healing. And they're so important. And everyone needs them.
So we really need to figure out how to get these healing touch vibes to those in need. Certainly stroke victims, but so many others that need it. And there's more and more denigration of sexual help
and sexual therapy. And so we're here to elevate it, not denigrate it. And so we are taking meta to arbitration. It's not a lawsuit.
Because meta says you agree when you sign the contract that if you have a dispute, you will go to arbitration. So we signed that. And so we're at arbitration.
But meta doesn't want to arbitrate. Meta wants to throw the case out. They don't want me to speak. They don't want me to explain what a racket meta is.
How exploitative. How dehumanizing. That's tyranny. Exactly.
They don't want to hear it. They filed a dispositive motion. I learned this terminology. And they're trying to kick it out before it goes into arbitration.
And they may succeed. And if they do, I take it to real court. Because they didn't give me my right to arbitration that they promised me in their contract.
And that contract is very important. And they promise in the contract that you can have arbitration. But they're not giving it to me. They say section 230 is everything.
And it protects them in every way. And it's really not for that. So we have to update section 230. And that's why we are creating a group.
We have a PAC. What's that short for? Political Action Committee. That's just what they're going off of.
And there's just so much more subsections that need to be investigated. Okay. And that are in your favor.
We're trying brothers and sisters. We're trying. See, they believe that nobody's going to challenge them. That's what it is.
Because they like this big machine, this big powerhouse. And a lot of people just abide by what they've been doing. And whenever they get kicked off, you got people so friendly about,
I want to get back on, I want to get back on whatever. And they think they got you by the bars, you know? Or the eggs, depending. They're like a passive aggressive bullies, you know?
They are bullies. They certainly are. But we are fighting them. And so far, as of this broadcast live,
we are still engaged. The arbitrator is asking us to try to beat section 230. That in the beginning, it was about freedom of speech for the internet.
And now it has become protection for monopolies. That was not the idea of section 230 to begin with. So it should not be what it's used for now. But we are fighting brothers and sisters.
And we are creating a political action committee to update section 230. Because you got to change the law. Because this is a law.
But it's a law that isn't used right. And both the left and the right have problems with it. Both the left and the right. I mean, Elon Musk, thank you for not banning me from Twitter.
Although I know you do shadow-band me. And I don't like being shadow-band. But it's not as bad as being band-band. Really.
You know what I think? I believe because the internet is so... The internet is undefeated, first of all. But it's still a new machine, a new baby.
Because it's always newness to it each time. And I believe that when they first created all these different platforms of the Facebooks and everything, they had no clue how this machine could become a roller coaster
that they didn't know, like, oh, we didn't expect that. We got to write a new law for that. Oh, shoot, we didn't expect that. Oh, you know what I'm saying?
Before you know it, it's going to be so much new stuff. Just for example, when the kids first learned about the internet, a lot of the teachers really didn't know things. They was taking, like, cheating on tests
until they really figured it out. Say, okay, this is what's going on. Okay, we got to shut that down. And it's all new.
It's steady being new, steady being new. So they had to keep learning, like, okay, it's a new case. A new situation. Because your case is really a legit case where you say, hey,
that's the only way I've been communicating with people. And by y'all doing what y'all did to me, shut me down, I have a serious situation in a family that needs to be addressed to other family members because that's the only way
we can communicate. You know, this is a family situation. We're elders of our kind. And this is what we're doing.
So you shut that down. That's like somebody stopping an ambulance, you know. Well, we tried to talk about that. And I think the arbitrator is very sympathetic to us.
So... We'll provide our own lawyers for you. Anyway, back to Captain Max. I want to show a picture of him.
Because Captain Max inspired me to fight because I'm a lover, not a fighter. But Captain Max has inspired me to fight. May I suggest something?
Yeah. We're speaking of love right now. And you got this beautiful picture up with you and your man, Captain Max.
And we have two of the greatest poets in the building right now who are pretty much know that they have a love poem in some shape or fashion. And that should be delivered in this moment of love right now.
What do you think? That's just my suggestion. That sounds beautiful. And this is Tuesday Connor. And this is Oracle.
And they're in this Gil Scott Herron tribute. And they've been on the Dr. Susan Block show. And Tuesday was here for our anniversary six weeks ago. And we're so happy to have you here.
For my birthday. And to talk about Max, I mean, he had a stroke. He's still with us. But he's sort of in this tough world.
And it is a new chapter to our love. And could we have Harp go along with the poetry? Because Reagan is here with her harp. And she is a high priestess.
That's one of her identities is a high priestess of music. High priestess of bliss. High priestess of bliss. Show me the way.
When I first met Max, I thought he was one of the most beautiful people I ever met. Really? He's got such a beautiful heart.
Max is beautiful. Max is beautiful. And this song is just for Max. You've got to get up every morning
With a smile on your face And show the world All the love in your heart And people gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes you will That you're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful as you feel
I have often asked myself the reason For the madness in a world Where tears are just a lullaby If there's any answer
Maybe love can end the madness Maybe not all, but we could only try You've got to get up every morning With a smile on your face
And show the world All the love in your heart And people gonna treat you better You're gonna find, yes you will
That you're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful as you feel Standing in the station with the work day
When the blowing, I've got nothing to do But watch the passes fly Mirrored in their faces I see frustration growing
And they don't see it showing Why do I? You've got to get up every morning With a smile on your face
And show the world All the love in your heart And people gonna treat you better You're gonna find, yes you will
That you're beautiful You're beautiful You're beautiful as you feel Yes, that's very true
Although makeup helps Let me just say this, no I've been going to the hospital And to the rehab every day
For three weeks I haven't worn makeup at all Today I went wearing this I covered the cleavage
But I wore the makeup And I was treated differently They were all like, oh hello Smile's help
And it is harder with masks on You have to smile with your eyes You have to do mime And I find myself with the masks on
In these medical spaces Having to be more physical But that was beautiful Let's have some big applause
For Tuesday Connor I love you, man Beautiful, really And so good
Acapella At the end of Gil Scott Hieron's life His final album is called I Knew Here
I believe it was released in 2010 And it's one of the pieces that I Have been given the honor and privilege of performing And I think it is most appropriate
For Max This is for you, Max I did not become someone different Than I did not want to be
But I'm new here Will you show me around? No matter how far wrong you go You can always turn around
I met a woman in a bar Told her that I was hard to get to know And near impossible to forget She said I had an eagle the size of Texas
Well, I'm new here and I forget Does that mean big or small? No matter how far wrong you go You can always turn around
And I'm shedding snakes Shedding scales like a snake And it may be crazy But I'm the closest thing I have
To a voice of reason Turn around, turn around, turn around And you may come full circle And be new here again
Max Turn around, turn around, turn around And you may come full circle And be new here again
When you get out of rehab and you come home All you need to do is turn around Turn around, turn around And you may come full circle
And be new here again We love you Max We love you, man That was beautiful
So beautiful Yeah We love you, Max Thank you

Get Well, Captain Matt Get Well, Captain Matt Get Well, Captain Matt Get Well, Captain Matt
Get Well, Captain Get Well, Captain Get Well, Captain Get Well, captain Matt
You guys are the greatest. I want to tell you where that group therapy sign this is what this is. This is truly a kind of group therapy that really makes me feel good. Thank you for coming. Thank you for singing. Thank you for sharing. Thank you. Thank you for
harping. That doesn't sound good. But thank you for just being part of my life, being part of Max's life. And for saying hi, Captain. We love you. We heal you. We want to be part of your healing. And this is such a difficult chapter. And we can always use group therapy always, always, always. But in those difficult chapters, it's really so good. It's a pleasure
when you have the pain, you need that pleasure. And it feels like pleasure when you have that pain. You know, sometimes you take it for granted, your group, your friends. But when you have pain, hey, you get the pleasure of your friends and the relationship. And it feels so good. And you cherish it. And maybe remember it when you take it for granted. I don't know.
But I cherish it now. Thank you so much. Thank you. And I think I speak from Max, when I say thank you from Captain Max. Have some good news, Dr. Susan. Yes. Remember my mom? Here's her picture. Oh, oh, oh, cat sun love. Yeah. And she said that Harvard bought her all her collection. And she says
she's been going through it and you're in it. And so she wants to contact you because Harvard just bought all her stuff. Well, okay, I don't mind that it's Harvard. It's okay. No, that's great. That's awesome. And by the way, shout out to the students at Harvard at Yale at UCLA and USC and all over that are protesting for
what's right and standing up to these out of control cops. I mean, whatever you might think about the wars and I support Palestine. I'm Jewish. I support Jews. I'm not a Zionist. But whatever you support, you've got to be against police brutality like this. This is out of control. This is wrong. This is a
college campus brothers and sisters. And I know when Max, before he left us and he's coming back, but he went on a trip. We were talking about this. It's close to my heart because I protested when I was in college and high school. It's very harrowing to do that. And the cops are harrowing, but they were nothing like
this. This is ridiculous throwing college professors down on the sidewalk for nothing. I did a show right after I was censored by Facebook and it's called cops and bots. And they got a lot of similarities, I hate to say, but these cops and the bots and they just dehumanize themselves. The cops do it
by standing behind plexiglass shields and using instruments of war and the bots don't have any feelings to begin with. Kudos to you students for standing up. How did that come up? Oh, we were talking about Harvard. Okay, well, we love all you students. And yeah, we had a little rivalry Yale
Harvard. That was all fun. But now I don't know how I feel about being a student. They're all owned by corporations, which are owned by the military. Hey, we had our problems, but we weren't owned by Boeing Boeing. God, they can't even put a plane together without the door falling off. Wow. Well,
anyway, you guys are so great. Thank you so much for joining us. Fania first off of strawberries. Oh, wow. Let's put them somewhere not in my hand. Hollywood Jake, you could hold them. I'm holding Max now. And I just wanted to say something for Max, Captain Max. Fania is a good friend of Max's. Fania's also the
world's greatest real estate agent. Thank you. The naughty realtor. If you need some land, you need a piece of land. For the best doctor. Yeah, I just want to wish you a happy birthday and wish Max a quick and speedy recovery and be back home soon and have my favorite couple back together at home and celebrating. And
everything will be okay. Oh, thank you. Thanks for the idea of calling Elon Musk. I mean, first of all, he doesn't approve of anything Zuck the cock does. So Zuck is the one that censored me and banished me, not just censored, but deactivated. And also
that neuro link transmitter sounds interesting. I don't know. There's all kinds of interesting stuff going on for stroke. Patience. We're gonna eat Elon up. So we're gonna hit Elon up somehow. Max is gonna make it home soon. I hope I know. I believe. Hi, Amy. There's Amy. Hi. Hi. Happy
birthday. Oh, thank you. We heard the strawberries were your favorite. I do like them. And some red wine. Thank you. It is my birthday. I'm not gonna say what year, but 29 again. Yeah, close to 29. But more of a double header. It's actually a great number. Life is like that. You get these
great numbers when tough things happen. This is one of the tougher things really. It is so tough. And yet it is a part of our life together. I mean, Max and I fell in love. We weren't that young. I was in my 30s, and he was in his 40s. And we were friends. We'd already been friends. Actually,
I met him in my 20s. And I guess he was in his 30s. But we were friends because he was married and I was with other guys, different ones. And then I realized I was in love with him when he got separated. And then he realized he was in love with me. And we did this hand dance. There was really quite
something as we were making a tape called Desert Susan, which was an anti-war tape about how we shouldn't make war on Saddam. Lo and behold, we're still in Iraq. And we just didn't want to be there. But we did a hand dance while we were making Desert. Anyway, it was
really nice. And we're still doing hand dances. And we still hold hands. It's really important, unless something's wrong with your hands, in which case you could hold a foot or an elbow or it's important to hold something. But we're lucky. We have hands. Hands are
so good. They could play the harp. They could massage someone. They can write, and they can hold each other tight. Hands. They're very special. Almost like talking. And if you can't talk, they're even more special. They communicate. If you have hands, feel
how they feel when they touch someone. Even if they just touch yourself, you feel them. They are so sensitive. Other animals, they have paws. Actually, primates have hands kind of. There's something in between. They have something like that. Hands are
so special. They grab things. They pick up things that fall down. They're so clever, those hands. One of Max's hands doesn't work at all. The right one for now. He's right handed. So it's really something. But his left hand, that's the one I'm
holding there. He's never used his left hand much. I'm a little ambidextrous. But he's very right handed. But his left hand is learning so much. It's so strong. It just holds things and squeezes and communicates and sometimes grabs things. It
shouldn't. Like wires. I understand how it feels. I've got those wires. But when you want to live, you have to keep the wires in. So I have to try to tell them, no, the hands, they do so much. The hands that love can also kill. So try to focus on
love. Yeah, Chico is barking. He agrees. Hands that pat can also hurt. So you got to try to pet and love and sing and play the harp and hold hands. Max hands built Bonoboville. Yeah, that too. Yeah, his hands built Bonoboville. And now Miguel is
his hands and Anna and everybody here. Abe and Maher and Harry and Gideon and Christina and Dre and Toran. All the bonobos. All the guests are Max's hands and voice. And thank you. Thank you, brothers and sisters, lovers and
sinners. Reagan, thank you for playing for us and everyone. Thank you. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Saturday night and I ain't got nobody. You got a Suze. We're here for you. Yeah. Max is still here for you. Yeah, but
that's a great song. Saturday night. I got some money cuz I just got paid how I wish I had someone to talk to. I'm in an awful way. I tell you Saturday night ain't got nobody. I got some money cuz I just got paid how I wish I had someone to
talk to. I'm in an awful way. Oh, yeah. You got us. You got all of us. But who sings that? Oh, my goodness. I thought it was Sam Cook, but Sam Cook. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Sam Cook. Yeah, he died in a bad way. So many bad things happen in
life. So many good things. Wow. It's just I do Reiki. I'm a Reiki master and I'm telling you right now. Max is filling all of this Reiki energy. All of this Reiki love. Oh good you're sending his way his healing healing healing Reiki
energy. Yeah. All it needs is a word to be spoken and we've spoken those words and your your heart is so full. So lady girl, I don't want to hear you say you all alone. You buy you're you are if you've got yourself you're never alone.
I just like that song. I agree with you. It was appropriate at the appropriate time and I do agree but it's Saturday night, you know, but it also yeah, I am alone because I mean, I am and that's okay. We're all
kind of alone in these skin sacs but we're all together in group therapy. You know, it's kind of a little bit of both and if you lose someone, you do lose a part of yourself and I haven't lost Max. Thank goddess. Thank
God. Thanks Satan. Thank all you arrows and Dionysus and everybody. He's still here but he's not in my bed. So that's kind of tough but love love you. Thank you. Love you Max. Love you Max. Thank you. Thank you all
you bonobos out there. Both the bonobosapiens and the real bonobos we right now have opera for bonobos playing. It so happens on a lot of social media where we visit them at the zoo, the San Diego Zoo because the
bonobos are our inspiration. We make like bonobos not baboons. We make love. We make kink not war and so we ask you to make like bonobos make peace through pleasure. Make love not war. Make love to someone you
love tonight. Even if that someone is you. We love you. I love you. The birthday girl loves you in her birthday suit and Max loves you and we all love you.
Group therapy baby. Go bonobos. Go bonobos. So now.
Okay. Dr. Sussie slightly more in the front like just like a little bit. Okay. You sure?
Yup. I'm not gonna be pissing you later. 3, 2, 1, Max. Listening to Radio Sussie 1 on the World Wide Web.
