Well, here we are and we being me, Dr. Susan Block and Luke Wilder and we're here at the Hollywood Show in the Lowe's Hollywood Hotel. Hollywood Show usually is all, you know, kind of mainstream legends to this year. It's got adult legends, so here we are. We made it, baby.

Yeah, yeah. Isn't this amazing being here with all these stars? Yeah, yeah, you know, and it's appropriate. I mean, after all, there's always a little bit of sex in every movie. So why should the movies that have a lot of sex be excluded

from a Hollywood Show? Exactly. So I'm excited about this poster here. We are the people, life, liberty, pursuit of sex across America.

We were actually in Philadelphia when we took the picture of the Liberty Bell there. Philadelphia is my hometown. All right. Yes. Billy.

The birthplace of Liberty in America. Absolutely. City of brotherly love, you know, and it could be sisterly or sister brother, you know. We're just loving general.

Actually, that goes back to the taboo series we were talking about. What about the people in the middle, though, those gender ambiguous? They get love in Philly, too, right? I want to know what you're doing with Alexandra Silk these days with this sex across America.

What is this all about? Okay. Well, it's not about watching adult video or seeing pretty pictures. Every Monday, we post a new blog to provoke conversation and thought, rational thought about sex in America. Thought? Oh my God, my brain hurts.

I know. I know. I know. Like what kinds of thoughts? How novel? Well, for example, when Nelson Mandela passed away, we, of course, yeah, of course, but

we gave a tribute to Nelson, but also discussed his contribution to the AIDS crisis in South Africa. Did you give a tribute to Al Goldstein? Of course we gave a tribute to Al Goldstein. I loved Al Goldstein.

So, you know, anybody that gives a tribute to Nelson one week and Al Goldstein the next week is pretty cool. Exactly. But in addition to that, we've now developed the attraction of the therapeutic community, people like you, Doc.

And as you know, I have a degree in psych and Alexandra is a practicing sex surrogate. Yes, that's very interesting work she's doing as a sex surrogate. One of the few officially Ipsa trained surrogates in the country, there's only 50 of them. I should refer you guys to some of my clients actually.

You should refer us guys to some of your clients because I've actually been through the training, but I'm still in my internship. Male surrogates that are hetero are not getting the referrals from the therapeutic community, but the females, they get all the work.

Well, isn't that like the way it always is? Yeah, it is sort of. So I've devoted my time and my attention to making films that are therapeutic in value. You know, we just did a show for Adam and Eve called Bicurious Amateurs.

So we took straight couples and we ran them through a bisexual experience and then interviewed them. It sounds pretty simple, but it got very intimate when the people started to talk about their feelings and their reactions through this whole thing. But for the most part, what we're trying to do is get people to come to sex across America

and engage in conversation with us. We're neither left wing or right wing. We create and present an academic approach to sexuality. And though it says sex across America, it's also, you know, across the globe.

Well, good. We've got to be international. Well, we are a global community at this point. And in the adult world, we're trying to bring people together

as opposed to just coming out and being an independent entity and working on a competitive level. We want to develop community. And Americans are kind of out in front when it comes to talking about sex.

I mean, there's a lot of other cultures that are ahead of us when it comes to having sex and being free and showing boobs on TV and doing things like that, you know, like France or something. But actually, when I was in France, they said, oh, lala, you Americans, you talk about sex. Yeah, we do.

It's true. Well, we are the home of the Kinsey Institute. Yeah. And also the Institute for Advanced Study of Sexuality up in San Francisco.

Hey, they just gave me an honorary degree. Did they really? They did. You deserve it, baby.

Well, I didn't have to work for it, but I guess I worked my whole life for it. Yeah. Anyway, we love Dr. Ted McElvane, and we had a good time getting the degree over at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Vegas.

Well, I'm proud of you. I just saw Penny Anteen over there, which is very cool. Hello, Penny Anteen. There she is.

Hi, baby. Yeah, she's an amazing photographer. And an amazing authorist, too. Oh, an amazing authorist.

She's written many of the scripts that are listed out there. Yes, that's right. She is a great script writer. And I understand there's some sort of documentary that she keeps almost finishing.

Well, I'm in. Hopefully, she'll complete that project and move on to more. And she's got great taste in hats. All right.
