Spanking for adults only, part one. So let's define our terms. To spank, according to websters, is to strike or slap the buttocks, usually with the palm of the hand.

Spankings may be given for punishment as in spanking a child against his or her will, or spankings may be given for pleasure, as in spanking your adult lover who enjoys being spanked, whether or not you make believe it's for punishment.

Spanking or beating children is, in my opinion, a bad idea and only teaches them that violence is a solution to conflict. I agree with Gore Vidal. I'm all for bringing back the birch, but only between consenting adults.

De Sade dreamt up his over-the-top scenes of what we now call sadism and debauchery while imprisoned in the Bastille, his wild writings helping to foment

the French Revolution. In 1835 Peter Fendi painted these idyllic lesboerotic spanking scenes.
