I'm Dr. Susan Block and I'm here at the Hollywood show with Danny Glover. It's so good to see you, Danny. I'm a big fan of yours. Thank you very much, Susan. Yeah, so how's it going? I mean, right now it's a little slow. We just started on Sunday morning, but yesterday you got to meet a lot of your fans. Yeah, it's been really a revelation in some sense, and they all are in various ways.

When you have people who really follow your career, follow your work, and take on certain projects that you've done, they're kind of like Anthem. Yeah, it's inspirational. It's really amazing, and the demographics in terms of Asian demographics for me have been really special as well. So I was just thinking after I left here I went to a restaurant in Santa Monica, and there was a group of about seven young men who remembered me from Angels in the Outfield.

And talking about how they grew up on Angels in the Outfield, and they couldn't be any more, the movie came out almost 20 years ago, so they could have been in their early, you know, the mid-20s, mid-20s, maybe a little bit of that. But it's always something that's really special when you have the opportunity to kind of touch base with people who know your work and respect, or were moved by it, you know.

Moved by it. I think that's very key. A lot of the people here are very moved. That's why they want to meet the real person, because the role you played really spoke to them for whatever reason. Yeah, I mean, that's really unfortunate for that. Is that why you became an actor, or why did you become an actor?

Well, I just simply, I think the whole idea of becoming an actor was beyond doing something and feeling that what you were doing was a value and important. And so there may have been other, you know, ulterior motives and everything else, but we began with the idea that something important was happening inside of me at that time, in my late 20s. Late 20s. So it wasn't like it was a natural instinct to you.

It came out in the evolution, my own evolution, as a human being. So my own evolution as a human being, given that I'm born at a particular point in time in history, you know, encompasses or follows the path of my career as an actor. How many times have you been to The Hollywood Show?

This is the first time I've been to them. Oh, okay. So, I mean, have you ever been to any kind of memorabilia show? I've been to, this, within the last, say, 14 months, the first one I did was about 14 months ago. Within the first 14 months, I've been to about, I think, nine of these shows, so it's been great.

One in the UK, one in Sweden, one at Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and I think it was at Chiller, and one in Rhode Island, and one in Chicago, so it's been great, you know. Well, there's Hollywood shows all over, but there's only one Hollywood, and that's where we are now. We're in Hollywood, okay, yeah.

So, are you working on anything now, or are you just enjoying the show? Well, you know, actors are always working on something. You know, I did three independent films last year. I'll probably do another independent film this year, and it's only January, so it's only January 5th,

which is my daughter's birthday, so it's only January 5th. So, I think there's some things that may happen, some nice things that happen. Well, great. Well, you know, I'm a sex therapist when I'm not being a talk show host,

and of course, you're quite a sex symbol to a lot of women. I'm sure some men too, but do you have a philosophy of sex and love? I don't know how to articulate my philosophy and talk about it. Your smile's articulating quite a bit.

But, hey, I'm a 67-year-old man, and so things have changed over the period of time, from the time that I was in my early 20s, 1920 years old. I grew up in the Haydash Berry, and I live in the Haydash Berry. Summer of love.

Let's see the part of that. To where I am now, you know, and certainly one of the things that I'm fortunate to have is someone, a wife that is, you know, amazing as a mother, as a scholar, and as a partner, and all the other things they are after.

Well, you are very fortunate, and so is she, and a lot of people are jealous right now, but we're still very happy for you that you have that. Thank you. Thank you.

That is the most important thing. I think, of course, I'm a sex therapist and a loveologist, but... You know, one of the things that I tell her all the time that I miss most is waking up beside her in the morning.

Well, some things don't go up with age, but some things get better. What's gotten better? I think what's better is that there's somewhere, I don't know if it's in your subconscious when you're younger, you're feeling as you're proving something.

You don't feel anything to prove. Right. Yeah. You're just who you are.

I am who I am. I am who I am. You know. You know.

A lot of guys out there are thinking, well, if I was Danny Glover, I wouldn't care who I was, but... Hey, you know, there's a lot of stuff that comes with Danny Glover, you know. Well, thank you so much for sharing some of your stuff,
