Occasionally, some sort of literal sex is involved, though much more often, it\u2019s \u201cemotional incest,\u201d with any and all sex taking place only in theerotic theaterof their minds. Common as it is, being a \u201cmother lover\u201d or \u201cmom fetishist\u201d can be a lonely, shame-laced life. Some may find validation for their desires in Freud\u2019s infamous \u201cOedipus complex,\u201d while mythology buffs may note that the Greek goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros were lovers. But by far the most frequent cultural reference made is to the 1980 adult feature film TABOO (the first of the series), in which a suburban American mother seduces her older teenage son.
