Charles Darwin hypothesized that music\u2019s evolutionary purpose was for human sexual selection or, as Geoffrey Miller stated, the role of musical display was\u2014and still is\u2014for \u201cdemonstrating fitness to mate.\u201d This is why rock stars often have even more active sex lives than porn stars.
