Should Jessica Open Up to Her Next BF about Her Sex Soir\u00e9es or Lead a Double Life?<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Jessica calls into DrSuzy.Tv<\/a> with the quintessential \u201clifestyle\u201d issue.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a couple of orgies,\u201d she explains. Wow, 26-years-old and quite the sex party<\/a> hostess!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The problem, Jessica continues, is that every time she tells a new boyfriend about the orgies, he breaks up with her.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

So, she asks me, should she keep her orgiastic exploits a \u201csecret\u201d or find someone who will accept this somewhat taboo<\/a> part of her?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To Tell or Not to Tell\u2026<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

That is the question! As I see it, Jessica needs to choose between two schools of sexual adventurism, the European and the American, which break down \u2013 more or less \u2013 like this:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

1) The European Way<\/strong>: You lead a double life and keep your extracurricular secret from your significant other. This is sometimes referred to as cheating<\/a>, but with the caveat that you will do your utmost to ensure that your partner will never be confronted with the truth.  If and when they are, all bets are off. That\u2019s the downside of doing it Euro-style; learning the truth of your partner\u2019s lust can destroy your trust.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

2) The American Way<\/strong>: You\u2019re honest about your sexuality, even if it means alienating a potential partner. This might involve engaging in the extracurricular sex with them or just being open about it, even if they don\u2019t join in. I realize that honesty isn\u2019t all that \u201cAmerican\u201d \u2013 at least not in politics \u2013 but this is how many kinky<\/a> sex experts differentiate stealthy sex parties (Euro) from honest orgies (USA).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are probably Asian and African Ways as well, but these seem to break down the basic choices open to Jessica\u2019s conundrum.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Though I choose the \u201cAmerican Way\u201d for myself and generally recommend it to others, I understand and even respect the European \u201cdouble\u201d lifestyle, despite its inherent dangers. Regardless of the way we choose to mix the flavors of our sex lives with the palate of our day to day, there will always be benefits and pitfalls.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To help her make her own choice, I ask Jessica: Are you the kind of person who likes to share what\u2019s going on in your life with the person you love?<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
