Angel calls in on a wing and a prayer, her soft cherubic voice as wishful as it is wistful.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cI\u2019m fearful of sex,\u201d Angel confesses to me, her Mother Confessor, \u201cand I\u2019d like to be more sexual and sensual.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Fear and sex<\/a> have had a deeply intertwined relationship ever since our prehistoric ancestors mated in pleasure surrounded by predators right up to the rampant erotophobia<\/a> of our sex-negative society. Fear can be an aphrodisiac<\/a>, but it can also be a passion-killer, morphing into its irritating, enervating, party-pooping cousins, anxiety and paranoia. Angel is experiencing all of the above.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Angel\u2019s 29 years old and practically a virgin<\/a>, having only been with two men, and her second, current relationship is more about exhibitionism<\/a>, voyeurism<\/a> and teasing<\/a> than *regular* sex. She says she and her lover use condoms, but they don\u2019t have intercourse. He also has other partners (he\u2019s a bit of a swinger<\/a>), which bothers Angel\u2026 and turns her on at the same time. Angel may be inexperienced, but she\u2019s kind of kinky<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Anxiety or Aphrodisiac?<\/em><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

She\u2019s also rather religious<\/a> (with a name like Angel, it\u2019s to be expected), but hers is not a typical religious household because her entire Christian family loves The Dr. Susan Block Show<\/a><\/em> (guess that makes it a \u201cfamily show\u201d), especially her younger, more sexually experienced sister who likes my attitude and my \u201coutfits.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Speaking of outfits, it happens to be my 5th<\/sup> wedding anniversary<\/a> (with my beloved Capt\u2019n Max!), so I\u2019m all decked out in my white bridal crinoline, pearls and wedding<\/a> veil topped by a sparkling tiara. Its fun, but it\u2019s also always a little scary<\/a> to be a bride (or groom)!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To contrast with all that pure white, I wield a rather impure, black leather riding crop, twirling it like a baton as Angel tells me about her devout Christian Mom who actually whips<\/a> her Dad as they roleplay<\/a>. Well, the religious are often the wild ones. Angel\u2019s swinger\/voyeur\/lover, whom she describes as the embodiment of \u201ctemptation,\u201d sounds like a bit of a snake, and my own pet Akeeta corn snake Eve<\/a> just happens to be slithering all over my body to demonstrate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
